Qiyi / Mo Fang Ge Valk 3 3x3x3
The Valk 3 is the cube used by Mats Valk to set the world record of 4.74 seconds in November 2016. This was later beaten by Felks Zemdegs by just 0.01 seconds
A very light cube, with thin yet high quality stickers. With design input from Mats Valk, whom the cube is named after.
Slightly smaller than most speedcubes at 5.55 cm per side, it features many innovations.
Hollow sections on the base of the centre pieces reduce friction
New centre pillar technology, helps to avoid lock-ups and cube deformations, resulting in greater overall stability
A lot of friction reduction tracks around all surfaces of the cube, to improve turning speed.
Precise arcs to enhance corner cutting ability, without impacting the stability of the cube.
Unified edge feet help to reduce lock-ups.
Squared off corners help to prevent corner twists.

The Valk 3 is just awesome. Beat my previous record by 2 seconds the first day of solving with it. I highly recommend it!

This puzzle is phenomenal. Going to this from a QiYi Warrior was an enormous step up. Saved about 5 seconds too initially. The main thing I like about this cube is that I can trust it when moving quickly, which means I can go even quicker. Definitely recommend to anyone without a flagship yet, especially for the price.
Super smooth Rubiks Cube

after aroudn 20-50 solves, the cube got way more controllable and the corner cutting increased a lot, this cube is amazing and definitely on par if not better than the gan air sm.
Very good cube

This is a very good cube, it corner cut very well, turn is very good, but without lubricant it's (obviously) not as fantastic.
I wanted to give it 4.5 stars but I'could not choose it :)
Extremely fast but controllable

Firstly, the box of the Valk 3 looks good and you can use the bottom of the box as a normal cube stand. Out of the box, the Valk 3 is slightly oily due to the factory lube but it can be easily wiped off. It has great performance and no sandy feel out of the box. Corner cutting is good but requires a bit more effort on mine compared to other speed cubes. The Valk 3 is extremely fast, even after 200 solves, it is buttery smooth and has no bumps or resistance when turning, maybe due to the factory lube which hasn't dried up yet. Compared to my Gan 356 Air, Aolong V2 and MF3S, the Valk 3 is much faster than all of them as it does not require much effort to turn making it great for one handed or both hands. Although the valk 3 is super fast, it does not overshoot which makes it easy to control and algorithms flow extremely nicely, the middle slices are also great, better than the Gan. Overall, the Valk 3 performs amazingly out of the box and it is the fastest speed cube I currently own. Definitely recommended.

This cube is quite good, given its reputation I should expect such a cube to be as good as it is. However I don’t known if it’s because of my favourite cube being better for me that I just feel that improvements could be made. My favourite cube being the Gans Air, I believe it’s worth paying a bit extra to get the Gans Air if you are purely looking for a cube to be your main, but if you’re looking to buy it for your collection you should definitely buy. Amazing quality and would recommend

It' good, fast cube, if you want to solve advanced, if you would like to break your personal time record. My son is the owner, 9 years ago, his record now is 1:09 sec (earlier 2:46 was). Thanks!
