Moyu Weilong GTS2M - new world record cube
Moyu Weilong GTS2M
Used to set the 3x3 world record single of 4.59 seconds in October 2017
Containing all the design element which have caused the Weilong GTS 2 to become so highly acclaimed, and with the addition of magnetic positioning technology, the GTS2M is a surefire hit with cubers.
Many magnets were tested by Moyu before settling for the ones used in this product. The magnets are professionally glued in position.
The cube comes in a stylish box, with spare magnets.
Amazing new main!

This cube has broken all my pb's shaving ten seconds off my 3x3 times and half a minute on my one handed times. There are little spring noises but aren't noticeable during solves. The magnets are strong and help a lot with control ability. Overall an amazing cube and coming off a cyclone boys it is great cube for cubes alike.

Having first owned thd gans 356 m then the gts v2 then the valk 3 the gts is my fav followed by the gans then the valk. The gans is good just a bit to flexible and feels hollow. The valk is not magnituzed and it shows. The gts has a special feel to it.

I've had a couple of speed cubes before, but this one is by far the best. There is a reason it is the world-record cube. It is next-level smooth and easy to turn - in fact, one issue I had in getting used to it is that I would overturn, making a U2 instead of a U. The magnets make it very stable.
Overall, would highly recommend this cube to anyone who is even half-serious about speed solving. Personally, I only average in the mid-to-high-20s, but I'm loving this cube.
Perfect if you're fast!

And still great if you're not. Really good cube that ive had for a while now and have recently been using for OH due to its size, speed, stability and soft feel turning/cutting. Would most likely be my overall main too if the stickerless colour shades were as good as the Valks and if it was a bit slower. Ive tried slowing it down a bit with some thicker lube and tightening the tensions which made it more controllable but it's still a bit too fast for me. I’ve read that some people had problems with magnets falling out but this has never happened with mine and I’ve dropped it A LOT. And if you look at magnet placement I’m not entirely sure how they could as they’re glued into little slots. I recommend the stickered version as the colours look better.

The Weilong GTS 2 M is an absolute main-killer, before I had this I had the Gans 356 Air, which was innovative but not the best cube on the market. The Weilonh GTS 2 M nearly instantly replaced my old main with its superior turning, feel, corner cutting and even stock lubricant. I would highly recommend it to any advanced speedcuber.
Very good, after a little twaeking

I purchased this along with some 500 lube, after my Aolong V2 started to get a little long in the tooth.
Out of the box it felt very good, being quite smooth and I took an instant liking to it. I wasn't sure what to expect with the magnets, having never held a magnetic cube before. I was pleasantly surprised by them: they don't really affect the turning but they are strong enough to keep the cube stable and hold the static pieces together whilst turning, reducing lockups and preventing layers from moving making turns easy to execute. They do little to automatically align the cube when turning. My only issue with it was it would not cut, apart from very small cuts.
A little disappointing since my Aolong would cut at 45 degrees and reverse cut between 1/3 and 1/2 cubie.
After lubing it with the 500 lube and reducing the tensions the cutting improved. Still not quite as good as the Aolong but much better. I'm still playing with the tensions so could probably improve it further. Given the magnets giving the stability, cutting ability isn't as important.
Sticker quality is very poor. My Aolong has had thousands of solves and has only just started to get a bit flakey on a few stickers. A few solves into the Weillong and I've already torn more after a few minutes than the Aolong did in years! They appear to be much thinner. They are bright though and I prefer the colours to the Aolong.
All in all an excellent cube, but for the price the stickers should be better quality too. They really let it down. Hence 4*.
The best to date

I have tried all the magnetic cubes on the market except the budget z one and this is the best. OK there is the gan UM which is great but at 38 quid it is steep. The GTS 2M : from the beautiful magnetic box to the size (same as the valk m without the sharp ages, recommended for OH), to the magnet strength - I have not tried a better one. This is also the cheapest on any UK sites that I have found. Don't bother getting one from the cubicle.us it is twice the price and the light version 's magnets are too light (i have a rough turning style), the other one's slightly too strong! Don't drop it though the previous one I bought (somewhere else but same mass produced version) had a magnet coming loose and pulled two others out. Easy to glue back in though. A 5 minute job tops. Enjoy your new instant main :) BTW I own the stickerless ones so cant comment on the stickers' quality.
A great upgrade

My main cube has been the Weilong GTS V2 and now that I have the magnetic version of it, I am not going back to conventional cubes. Magnets are the new ultimate upgrade of speed cubes and they indeed add some stability to any cube. The Weilong GTS V2 was already a beast (in my opinion and compared to the Valk 3), and now that there is a new version, the Weilong GTS V2M is incredible.
I would recommend this cube as well as a Valk 3 and Gans 365 UM. In terms of preferences, I would choose Weilong GTS V2M over the other two not only because it adjusts to my style but because in terms of prices it is the cheapest (value for money)..
