Limcube Master Mixup Cube - Version I
Limcube Master Mixup puzzles
The Master mixup puzzles from limcube build upon the mixup cubes from witEden, and make them yet more complex. The thinner middle layers turn in increments of 30 degrees, which then allow turns in other directions. this causes extreme shape shifting, and there are a lot of pieces that need to be returned to their solved position. This puzzle will challenge even the experienced puzzlers.
Early impressions of the Master Mixup cubes from limCube (FangShi/Funs Cube). The Master Mixup is an update of the venerable Mixup Plus series from WitEden. These puzzles are much larger than the previous series and turn at 30° instead of 45°. So far, three variants have been released. Do I like the puzzles? How do they turn? How do they compare to the WitEden Mixup Plus and Mixup series??? BONUS CONTENT: keep watching after the signoff for BONUS outtake content.

Great puzzle to solve, needs some work first

I rated this 3 for a few reasons. Firstly, I absolutely love the solve of this puzzle and would rate it a 5/5. It's a great mixture of a few other puzzles and you can solve it a couple different ways depending on what strategy you want to employ.
The playability of this puzzle out of the box is absolutely atrocious; there are a lot of catching issues, difficulties turning the inner layers and algorithms were almost impossible to pull off while keeping your train of thought while trying to get it to uncatch. I solved this by taking the entire puzzle apart and sanding down all of the flashing on the pieces. It looks as though my puzzle was a later production and the mold was getting a bit old, so there were a lot of ridges and flash that were hindering the turning.
After spending maybe 5 hours of sanding, assembling, and lubing with some 50k, it turns like a dream.
In short, if you get this puzzle, keep in mind you will need to do a bit of work on it to get it perfect, but it is *well* worth the time.
